I recently stayed at a charming lakeside hotel that offers great value for money. The prices were very reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The hotel is located right on the lake, providing a fantastic view and easy access to the water. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities were clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and a GREAT bathroom. Additionally, the breakfast offered was delicious and satisfying.
All was well, no improvements needed.

We only stayed for 1 night but the location is very good - lots to do - but much of it is dependent on decent weather. Residence du port is a good self catering option although we found the many stairs to the apartment difficult with small children. The kitchens are very well stocked and the whole apartment was spotless.
There was a lot of confusion at check-in about extras to be charged. It is €25 per day extra for a baby travel cot which is ludicrous. There is also a deposit to pay for breakages and cleaning but this is returned at the end of your stay. We did not need to pay it in the end because we were only staying 1 night. We found the whole issue of having to pay for cleaning of the apartment quite strange but this is the norm in France self catering of any sort - I would have thought it would be included in your room rate. However, all was eventually sorted out and the staff were good at pulling the situation around.

The self catering was very useful particularly with the cost of eating out in mind. Having a small balcony with the apartment was a bonus giving a lovely view over the small marina and the Lac Hortin beyond , although we had to pay an extra 24euro for the priveledge
Not a complaint as such but the hotel would benefit from having its own car park.

Nothing at all.

The location of this hotel was its best aspect. It was in close proximity to a beautiful lake and offered some stunning views. the rooms were relatively affordable compared to other hotels in the area, which was definitely a plus. We also appreciated having a mini, fridge in our room.
The negatives would easily outweigh the positives. the room was tiny and uncomfortable, with a sofa, bed that was difficult to sleep on.

The hotel was inexpensive for the time of year and was well presented. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was also a great spot for families with children. The interior of the hotel was clean and tidy.
The balconies were covered in bird muck, which was really off-putting. At night, there was a lot of noise coming from outside, which made it hard to sleep.
